Not Me Monday

It's Monday again and as usual there are a bunch of things I'd rather not fess up to but will since looking back on them reminds me to have a sense of humor about life.

I would not hurry and snap this picture really fast just so I would finally have a picture to post. I think I've finally got the technical difficulties under control and rigged a way to upload my pictures. Riley does not love to destroy books so to catch her in the act of reading one is NOT a miracle. I couldn't resist having proof that there is a chance that some day she will do more than rip them up.

I did not take her to the gym daycare this week while she had a cold just so I could go swim so laps. I would not think that I could after 15 years do an easy 500 of kicking with a kickboard and then swim a 500 to start off with. And I would most definitely not be sore after only managing to kick my way through a 500. That would mean I was so out of shape it would be embarrassing.

I would not tell Jahnna that if she didn't move off the pillow and get another one she would have to live with what ever Riley did to her. She was not stubborn and stayed on the pillow instead of getting another one identical to the one she was laying on. Jahnna did not scream bloody murder 5 seconds later and Riley was most definitely not sent to her room afterwards. I did not come tell Jahnna that I had asked her to move and that she knew Riley was going to pull her hair. She did not say "She didn't pull my hair she bit me with her canine teeth." And I did not burst out laughing hysterically. My girls do not have an ounce of drama in them.

Colby did not throw up all week on his teachers. He loves them and we have his stomach issues under control at all times. Or not. He would do really well in the morning and save it up for his teachers and then I had to go get him two days this week. He did not laugh when I asked him if he threw up on Ms. Kim because he is not diabolical like that. He also did not think it was funny when John was pretending to beat me up but then when he kissed me instead roll his eyes and look away. No nonverbal child should be able to express so much with just an eye roll. Then when John pretended like he was going to be me up again Colby did not give himself hiccups laughing so hard.

As always I'm sure there were many more but this is all I can think of right now. I'll leave you with a picture Jahnna did not take of herself last night instead of going to bed like she was told.
